Family Nurse Practitioner

I am a nurse practitioner who has served in Southeast Pennsylvania for many years. I feel that the body will heal itself if given the right building blocks, and fully endorse a wide variety of tools for achieving this. Nutrition, herbs, nutrients and homeopathy are all valuable and it has always been my intent to understand and use these methods as indicated by the patient’s needs.

As a nurse midwife I delivered more than 2000 babies, and as a wife and mother I birthed 6 of my own. During this time I used a great deal of alternative measures with mothers and babies to support the growth of healthy babies and protect both mother and child from harm. I knew I would benefit from a more complete understanding of medical treatments and completed my education in family medicine, which I practiced for 15 years as a nurse practitioner. Because of my education and experience, I specialize in Women’s Health, helping women understand their bodies, navigate mental wellness, regulate periods, help fertility, and sail through menopause.

I love to garden and have fruit trees and perennials. I don’t have a lot of sun around my house, but where I do have some, I plant a vegetable or two. My year round hobby is knitting, and while many of my patients are exquisite knitters, I’m happy with the little projects I make that take way too long to knit!
