Real Food Tastes Good
“Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food." Hippocrates
Food is truly the foundation of health. What you put in your mouth matters. Every thing you put in your mouth either builds your health or diminishes your health. So no matter what way you decide to have the LCOIH team work with you on your health journey; it will always involve talking about food. Below are the services we provide to help patients when it comes to food and nutrition.
"What I know about you, is that if you had a fire at your house, you would NOT have a fire extinguisher in one hand and be lighting matches in the other. BUT we often do the same thing with the food choices we make. When our bodies are inflamed as they are with every chronic illness, we continue to keep the fire going by the foods we put in our mouth."

Real Health Coaching
The LCOIH team encourages all of our patients to explore the importance of their food choices. Our integrative healthcare providers will recommend the changes that would help you heal. Dr. Boyer does not believe in prescribing a diet and expecting the patient to figure it out on their own. Our Real Health Coaches will provide as much support as you need, walking along side you each step of the way; one meal at a time. They will take an in depth look at your food choices. Are there more beneficial choices for you specifically based on your health concerns and challenges. Are their foods you should eliminate or add to benefit your health? Should you eat fats and what kinds? We'll go over all of this and more during your coaching sessions.
